Made from durable linen fibers, this is a very hard wearing but comfortable work-shirt, designed to protect your authentic clothes from the wear and tear of being in close contact with heavy metal as well as the grease used to rustproof armour. The arms are ¾ length and the shirt reaches approximately to mid thigh. Finished with a hand-sewn wool trim.. V-shaped inserts give a flare from the hips for ease of movement. Can be readily modified/personalised and the fabric will dye easily for further modification. It should be worn with a belt - of leather, tablet-weave wool or similar when the warrior is unarmoured.. Made from natural linen fibers with contrasting-coloured collar, trim and cuffs, this is a hard wearing but comfortable tunic.. V-shaped inserts give a flare from the hips for ease of movement. Can be modified/personalised with tablet weave, embroidery or simple woolen sewing and the fabric will dye easily for further personalisation or to denote a higher rank. It should be worn with a belt - of leather, tablet-weave wool or similar. It should be knee length or longer if Saxon with the cuffs taken in, looser fitting and shorter if Viking/continental. V-shaped inserts give a flare from the hips for ease of movement. Can be readily modified/personalised and the main fabric will dye for further pesonalisation. It should be worn with a belt - of leather, tablet-weave wool or similar. Sleeves should be cut down if a 'peasant' style is required. As your child grows, you may add a woolen leg-wrap to add about 4" to the length. It should be knee length or longer if Saxon (mid-thigh for peasant ) with the cuffs taken in, looser fitting and shorter if Viking/continental. small Fit Age 5 to 9
